Passenger ferries are available all through the Summer to neighboring islands such as Sherkin, Heir and Cape Clear, which is one of the best bird-watching sites in the country.  From the islands you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of a Hundred Isles scattered with secluded coves and beaches.
